The Highland Throw is produced by J. D. Matthewman (Textiles) Ltd. of West Yorkshire, England. They are longstanding manufacturers of quality blankets, throws and scarves.
The Scottish Clans are the families of long standing in Scotland, whose recognition of their blood lines has kept their pride in kin and country (both the political entity and the land itself) strong over the centuries. It is based on a tribal kinship and a deep identification with the ancestral lands.
