• We've had good luck with items such as china, cameras and unique collectables and vintage items.

• For an item to do well, it needs to have something inherent about it that will grab attention. That could be a respected or fashionable brand name, being in exceptionally good condition for its age, or being something really rare. It doesn't need to appeal to a wide population if it has a devoted niche audience.

• We always suggest that if you have a collection of items to sell, such as old baseball cards, or fiestaware, you submit them simulateously, rather than one item at a time. We can then structure those auctions to encourage eBay bidders to try for more than one at a time, with better results than a single item would generate.
